We are seeking an Electrical Compliance Supervisor based in the Birmingham to be part of our growing team.
The successful candidate will provide technical oversight and ensuring all electrical works, testing and certification meet regulatory and NICEIC standards.
| KEY RESPONSIBILITIES |
- Create, review & sign off test certificates for Kane projects.
- Ensure all projects have all the correct certificates and help site teams hit commissioning deadlines.
- Review and compile site reports as part of the electrical compliance supervisor role.
- Visiting sites to review installation work is carried out to latest BS7671 regulations.
- Witness and supervise electrical site testing, reviewing stored records in accordance with design requirements, the current BS 7671, and Guidance Note 3 to ensure contractual and legal compliance.
- Liaise with both Operations and Commissioning team to ensure all system requirements are met prior to system energisation with the AP on site.
- Conduct regular (weekly/fortnightly) site inspections to ensure our electrical installations follow intent & construction drawings.
- Review the latest documents and permits using our document control and H&S systems
- ensuring they meet our legal safety & environmental standards, check standards of workmanship and materials, and ensure design specifications of a project are followed.
- Schedule outstanding electrical works, review ITAP’s and WIR’s to ensure these cover the scope of works undertaken on site.
- Monitor progress of building electrical works, prepare schedules, and maintain effective follow‑up of all issued reports with site teams, ensuring full closure and high‑quality finishes.
- Compile and maintain records for on-site electrical activity, conditions & resources.
- Attend and contribute to design team and site meetings if required.
- Provide detailed site reports to the senior leadership team, outlining both positive and negative quality findings.
- Liaise with the senior team and the client when required to help resolve quality / design / installation / and testing issues.
- Assist in developing quality alerts to be distributed to all sites.

Essential
- Experience in a similar position in the M&E industry
- Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installations
- Testing and Inspection qualification or equivalent
- SSSTS
- 18th Edition
Desirable
- LV AP qualification
- IOSH Managing safely qualification
- SMSTS
- Emergency at work First Aid qualification
| EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE |
Essential
- Sound knowledge of Electrical project contract documents
- Sound knowledge of Electrical installation and familiarity with all installation standards
- Previous NICEIC experience in residential and commercial work.
- Demonstrable knowledge of compliance, audits, and electrical safety rules
- Strong knowledge of BS7671, GN3 testing and all electrical compliance. Experience of checking setting out dimensions
