Graduates
We offer graduates fantastic opportunities to develop a career at Kane. We are keen to give early responsibility to ensure our graduates are challenged. We provide excellent opportunities for on-the-job training alongside our experienced and knowledgeable staff.
Placement Students
Placements are a great way to learn about our business and get involved in the world of work. Work placements can be offered in many of our departments. Kane regularly offer an employment opportunity when Placement Students graduate.
Apprenticeships
Apprenticeships are a good way to get a qualification and earn a wage while doing so. We see great value in recruiting and nurturing apprentices at all levels and across various disciplines within the business. We offer apprentices fantastic on-the-job learning opportunities to enhance their knowledge and skill set.
School Leavers
If you have decided that full time education is not for you, we are keen to give opportunities to school leavers with a desire to develop a career. We offer school leavers a path to get into the workplace and provide development and training opportunities to kick start their careers.

Quantity Surveying Assistant
I joined Kane in 2019 as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor whilst studying Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management at Ulster University. I came to Kane after working in the retail industry for over 5 years with very little knowledge of the construction industry, especially the mechanical and electrical elements. In my role I carry out general admin alongside preparing budgets, valuations to clients and preparing Sub-Sub Contractor payment certificates monthly. This has greatly improved my knowledge of the role and has helped me gain the confidence to independently carry out the task carried out by Quantity Surveyors. Kane have invested greatly into my training and development by sending me on in-house training courses in a range of areas including Excel and Negotiation & Influencing Skills.
