We are seeking an Electrical Supervisor based in Bristol to be part of our growing team.

| KEY RESPONSIBILITIES |

  • Manage and coordinate all on-site electrical services installations and testing activities.
  • Oversee on-site installations to ensure compliance with building regulations and health and safety standards.
  • Procure materials and equipment in accordance with company protocols and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the site management team to support the successful delivery of projects.
  • Plan proactively to prevent issues and address any emerging challenges effectively.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with approved RAMS.
  • Maintain and enforce health and safety standards across the site.
  • Provide day-to-day supervision of electrical subcontractors.
  • Oversee on-site quality assurance processes to ensure standards are consistently achieved.
  • Attend and contribute to daily on-site briefings and site walks with main contractors.
  • Oversee the upkeep of the site office and storage areas, while supporting the preparation and implementation of RAMS.
  • Attend meetings as required and provide relevant updates and input.
  • Deliver weekly toolbox talks to site personnel.

| QUALIFICATION |

Essential

  • Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent)
  • SSSTS
  • 2391 Inspection and Testing
  • 18th Edition

Desirable

  • A qualification in Building Services, Construction Management, or a recognised electrical trade background.
  • SMSTS

| EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE |

Essential

  • 5 + years’ experience in a similar role in an Electrical environment.
  • Experience of dealing with multiple sub-contractors as part of complex, multi-disciplinary building projects

Desirable

  • Experience of supervising Electrical Packages on major projects

  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise own workload.
  • Developed problem solving skills, including the ability to manage conflicting work demands.
  • Capacity to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Excellent team player with the ability to lead and develop those within the team
  • Be able to undertake a continuous review of procedures to achieve and maintain best practice.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to liaise and advise staff at all levels, both in written and verbal.
  • Excellent problem solver with the ability to deliver high quality and practical solutions
  • To be flexible and work as part of a team.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet short deadlines.
  • Must be very ‘hands on’ with can do attitude
