  • Hours Monday - Thursday 7:00 - 16:00 & Friday 7:00 - 15:00

We are seeking a General Operative based in Banbridge to be part of our growing team.

| KEY RESPONSIBILITIES |

  • Assist fabrication operatives with the preparation of steel and pipework, including cutting, measuring, and material handling
  • Support workshop activities to ensure smooth and efficient production processes
  • Operate a variety of workshop machinery and equipment (onsite training provided)
  • Handle, move, and store materials safely within the workshop environment
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working area in line with company standards
  • Adhere to all Health and Safety guidelines to ensure a safe and productive workshop environment
  • Work collaboratively as part of the fabrication team to meet production targets and deadlines
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and senior operatives to complete tasks accurately and efficiently
  • Undertake any other duties, within reason and capability, as directed by the Production Supervisor

| QUALIFICATION |

Desirable

  • Forklift Licence

| EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE |

Essential

  • Previous experience in a workshop, manufacturing, or construction environment
  • Basic understanding of hand and power tools
  • Awareness of Health and Safety practices within a workshop environment

Desirable

  • Previous experience working with stainless steel pipework

  • Able to work effectively on own initiative as well as under supervision.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced workshop environment
  • Dependable and punctual, with a strong commitment to work
  • Comfortable performing a range of manual handling duties within a workshop environment
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills within a fabrication environment
