We are actively seeking a Health, Safety & Environmental Manager to join our team!
Key Responsibilities
- To oversee and manage the HSE team of advisors and co-ordinator ensuring all operational sites and departments (aftercare / FM / warehouse) are effectively supported.
- Build effective relationships with client H&S teams and our supply chain partners.
- Attend project sites regularly, maintaining and developing Kane operational team relationships / engagement.
- Facilitate the Senior Management Team/Core Leadership Team H&S tours, maintain a schedule, and issue the report.
- Chair monthly H&S forums with Aftercare / FM / Warehouse departments
- Support internal (QA) and external audits (Achilles, ISO, Considerate Constructors Scheme).
- Assist in the creation, development and review of company policies and procedures.
- Complete, oversee or assist with accident/incident investigations and reports. Ensuring accurate and timely reporting to regulatory authorities as required.
- Co-ordinate HSE team meetings.
- Support the preparation of monthly SLT/CLT reports.
- Frequent travel to sites / head office as required.
- Promote the Kane H&S Vision, supporting campaigns and workshops and encouraging individual ownership across the business.
Experience & Knowledge
Essential
- NEBOSH National Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety (General or Construction) or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years in the construction industry
- ISO 45001 Health & Safety Management Systems
- 3rd Party accreditations such as Achilles, Constructionline, CHAS, SMAS, Considerate Constructors Scheme
