Kane Group are an established, and successful multi-disciplinary building-services solution contractor, with our Head Office based in Banbridge, Northern Ireland.

We are actively seeking an experienced Marketing Manager. The successful candidate will lead the development and delivery of the Company’s marketing strategy across both digital and traditional channels, strengthening brand awareness and supporting internal communications in line with the Company’s core values.

This role combines strategic planning with practical execution and requires expertise in content creation, the design and delivery of marketing campaigns and the ability to manage day-to-day marketing activity in a technical, B2B project-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Planning

  • Develop, lead and execute the marketing strategy to support the overall business goals.
  • Advise and lead the development of marketing plans to support business development, client engagement, and brand awareness.

Digital Marketing & Website Management

  • Manage the updating of the Company website design, content updates, SEO, and performance analytics.
  • Manage all social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook), including content calendars, performance tracking, and audience growth.
  • Explore other social media platforms that could enhance the brand and elevate our online presence.

Brand, Content Creation & Company Literature

  • Create engaging written and visual content for digital and traditional platforms, including case studies, brochures, capability statements, bid support materials, and internal communications.
  • Own and maintain a consistent brand tone and messaging across all channels and collateral in line with the Company values.
  • Work with external videography and photography teams to capture high quality content.
  • Explore other content opportunities such as Podcasts and Webinars

Campaigns & Events

  • Lead, plan and execute marketing campaigns, on time and within budget, for new project wins, service launches, recruitment drives, and thought leadership content that highlights the Company’s expertise in technical innovation and project delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with the HR team to develop and deliver employer branding campaigns that promote a positive workplace culture and supports recruitment, retention and engagement goals.
  • Organise and manage Company events such as client networking evenings, CPDs, and staff engagement activities.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with Business Development, Operations, HR, and the Senior Leadership teams to support strategic goals.
  • Liaise with external designers, photographers, videographers, and marketing agencies as needed.
  • Collaborate with our clients to maximise exposure and leverage every opportunity for brand visibility and project recognition.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Monitor, analyse, and report on campaign performance and KPIs to assess effectiveness and ROI.
  • Use data insights to refine and optimise marketing strategies.
  • Willingness to travel to the UK from time to time to gather content from other Kane sites and to collaborate with colleagues regarding marketing activities.

Budget Management

  • Effectively manage the marketing budget, providing regular updates and reports on departmental performance.

Experience & Knowledge

Essential

  • 3rd level qualification in Marketing, Business or related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in a senior level marketing position.
  • Expertise across key areas of digital marketing, including content management systems (CMS), Google Analytics, and social media management (especially LinkedIn).
  • Strong understanding of content approval workflows, including experience coordinating and releasing marketing materials in line with client sign-off processes and brand guidelines.
  • Experience in website management and content development.
  • Demonstrable expertise in the use of design software and video editing, including Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar for creating visual content.
  • Event management experience, from planning to delivery.

Desirable

  • Membership of CIM.
  • Experience in a similar senior level B2B role within the construction, engineering, MEP, or a technical services environment
  • Familiarity with CRM systems
  • Knowledge of sustainability certifications (e.g., BREEAM, WELL, NABERS) and their role in marketing construction services.
  • Demonstrable experience in the handling of media relations, including the writing of press releases.
  • Good understanding of the built environment and the contractor-client-consultant dynamic.

  • Demonstrate initiative and self-motivation, with the ability to work independently while contributing effectively to cross-functional teams.
