We are seeking a Mechanical Site Engineerbased in Bristol to be part of our growing team.
| KEY RESPONSIBILITIES |
- Update equipment & material delivery trackers
 - Ensure Health & Safety file is in order and up to date
 - Carry out site inductions and ensure operatives have read and signed RAMS
 - Carry out toolbox talks
 - Issue permits to operatives as required
 - Update progress trackers
 - Liaise with & assist the project manager as required
 - Assist the supervisors with the QA procedures
 - Complete site inspections to maintain tidiness and produce report on issues found
 - Review and update tools & equipment register
 - Issue hot works, ladder, confined working permits as required and make sure operatives are following procedure
 
| EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE |
- HNC in building services engineering or related subject
 - 1-2 years in a similar position with an electrical contractor
 
| ABILITIES & SKILLS |
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written and ability to deal with clients & internal staff
 - Good computer software skills required (particularly, Microsoft Excel & Outlook)
 - Can deliver high quality work with excellent attention to detail
 - To be flexible and work as part of a team
 - Able to work under pressure and meet short deadlines.
 - Must be very ‘hands on’ with can do attitude
