We are seeking a Mechanical Site Manager based in Birmingham to be part of our growing team.
| KEY RESPONSIBILITIES |
- Manage and coordinate all Mechanical services installation and testing from conception to completion of project
- Understand the project and the systems within the project in-depth
- Work closely with the Principal Contractor on a daily basis to implement the agreed sequence of works on the project
- Order materials and equipment while following company protocols /procedures
- Oversee management of all site staff including site supervisors, site engineers, site office staff and store managers
- Assist in the generation of RFIs
- Review valuations
- Acknowledge and track project variations
- Daily management of Mechanical sub-contractors
- Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging issues
- Analyse, manage and mitigate risks
- Supervise and manage health & safety on site to ensure safety on the jobsite
- Oversee all onsite installations to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
- Ensure contractual conditions of performance are met
- Oversee and manage on site Quality Assurance & Quality Control checks
- Attend meetings as required

Essential
- Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent)
- SMSTS
Desirable
- Qualification in Building Services, Construction or Mechanical trade background
| EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE |
Essential
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a site management role in Mechanical disciplines
- Experience of dealing with multiple sub-contractors as part of complex, multi-disciplinary building projects
- NEC project knowledge
Desirable
- Experience of managing large infrastructure packages
- Experience of managing Rail tunnel projects

- Strong IT skills particularly with Microsoft office
