We are seeking a Project Engineer (Bore field) based in Bristol to be part of our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) projects from inception to completion.
  • Assist project managers in developing programmes
  • Review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements and UK regulations.
  • Coordinate with design teams, contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Monitor on-site installation works ensuring quality plans are followed
  • Provide design support to site operations team
  • Ensure drawings and documentation are updated throughout project for smooth handover
  • Update equipment & material delivery trackers
  • Ensure Health & Safety file is in order and up to date
  • Carry out site inductions and ensure operatives have read and signed RAMS
  • Issue permits to operatives as required
  • Update progress trackers
  • Assist the supervisors with the QA procedures
  • Issue hot works, ladder, confined working permits as required and make sure operatives are following procedure

| QUALIFICATION |

  • HNC in building services engineering or related subject

| EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE |

Essential

  • 1-2 years in a similar position with an electrical contractor

| ABILITIES & SKILLS |
Essential

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written and ability to deal with clients & internal staff
  • Good computer software skills required (particularly, Microsoft Excel & Outlook)
  • Can deliver high quality work with excellent attention to detail
  • To be flexible and work as part of a team
  • Able to work under pressure and meet short deadlines.
  • Must be very ‘hands on’ with can do attitude
