We are seeking a Project Engineer (Bore field) based in Bristol to be part of our growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) projects from inception to completion.
- Assist project managers in developing programmes
- Review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements and UK regulations.
- Coordinate with design teams, contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Monitor on-site installation works ensuring quality plans are followed
- Provide design support to site operations team
- Ensure drawings and documentation are updated throughout project for smooth handover
- Update equipment & material delivery trackers
- Ensure Health & Safety file is in order and up to date
- Carry out site inductions and ensure operatives have read and signed RAMS
- Issue permits to operatives as required
- Update progress trackers
- Assist the supervisors with the QA procedures
- Issue hot works, ladder, confined working permits as required and make sure operatives are following procedure

- HNC in building services engineering or related subject
| EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE |

- 1-2 years in a similar position with an electrical contractor
| ABILITIES & SKILLS |

- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written and ability to deal with clients & internal staff
- Good computer software skills required (particularly, Microsoft Excel & Outlook)
- Can deliver high quality work with excellent attention to detail
- To be flexible and work as part of a team
- Able to work under pressure and meet short deadlines.
- Must be very ‘hands on’ with can do attitude
