Senior Electrical Estimator

We’re currently seeking a Senior Electrical Estimatorto join our team, this position will be based in our Birmingham office

Key Responsibilities

• Sending/receiving enquiries to/from suppliers & specialist sub-contractors
• Preparing take-offs from drawings
• Inputting take-offs and quotations into Estimating software (Amtech)
• Accessing and linking information on 4Projects
• Preparation of tender price
• Attending Mid-tender review meetings with Clients
• Presentation of tender to Estimating/Bid Manager for approval prior to submittal
• Detailed tender submission
• Post tender review meetings with Clients
• Preparing comprehensive tender handover reports for the Project Delivery Team

Experience & Knowledge

Essential

• · 5+ GCSE’s (Grade C & above)
• · 4+ years estimating experience
• · Proficient in Microsoft Office particularly Microsoft Excel
• · Experience using estimating software

Desirable

• HNC Building Services Engineering / NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation / Time Served Electrician
• · Experience in attending mid/post tender review meetings
• · Experience in tendering across a wide range of sectors

• · Willing to travel to Ireland & the UK for client meetings
• · Willing to travel to our Head Office in Banbridge for team meetings/tender reviews (Max 1 per month)
