We are seeking a Site Supervisor (Civil) based in Bristol to be part of our growing team.

| KEY RESPONSIBILITIES |

  • Supervise and coordinate multiple civils/utilities sites, ensuring the safe and effective execution of deep excavations, pipelines, and related structures.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety standards (RAMS)
  • Manage resource allocation, materials delivery, and scheduling to achieve project deadlines and standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and quality checks, providing timely updates and reports.
  • Maintain accurate site records, documentation, and commercial reporting.
  • Monitor project progress, implement changes as required, and resolve on-site issues promptly.

| QUALIFICATION |

  • Educated to GCSE (or equivalent) level
  • SSSTS Qualification
  • Health and Safety & First Aid qualification

| EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE |

Essential

  • At least 5 years’ experience as a supervisor
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering construction and utilities installation.
  • Proven ability to supervise, coordinate, and motivate teams on complex sites.

| ABILITIES & SKILLS |
Essential

  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise own workload. Developed problem solving skills, including the ability to manage conflicting work demands.
  • Capacity to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Excellent team player with the ability to lead and develop those within the team
  • Be able to undertake a continuous review of procedures to achieve and maintain best practice.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to liaise and advise staff at all levels, both in written and verbal.
  • Excellent problem solver with the ability to deliver high quality and practical solutions
  • To be flexible and work as part of a team.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet short deadlines.
  • Must be very ‘hands on’ with Can do attitude
  • Strong IT skills particularly with MS office
