We are actively seeking a Sustainability Lead to join our growing team.
The successful candidate will support the business in developing, implementing, and monitoring sustainability initiatives aligned with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals. They will work across departments to embed sustainable practices, track performance metrics, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote a culture of environmental responsibility.
| KEY RESPONSIBILITIES |
- Support creation and rollout of sustainability strategies that reduce environmental impact and align with company-wide objectives
- Develop, implement, and monitor (KPI’s) sustainability programs such as waste reduction, energy efficiency, recycling initiatives and social value programmes
- Assist in the creation, development and review sustainability policies and procedures
- Build effective relationships with client sustainability teams and our supply chain partners.
- Conduct assessments to measure environmental performance and recommend improvements
- Prepare sustainability reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, including tender applications
- Facilitate sustainability meetings with our supply chain and attend client meetings.
- Liaising with external parties including SBTi,
- Promote the Kane Sustainability Vision, support campaigns and workshops and encouraging individual ownership across the business.

Essential
- NEBOSH Environmental Management Certificate or equivalent / IEMA Associate Certificate Or working toward
Desirable
- NEBOSH Environmental Management Diploma or equivalent
- Master’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Management, ESG, or related discipline

- Minimum 2 years in the construction industry
- ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems
- Client / Principal Contractor / Subcontractor engagement
