We are seeking a Warehouse Operative based in Banbridge to be part of our growing team.
| KEY RESPONSIBILITIES |
- Maintaining & organising a busy stores warehouse environment. This includes the maintenance of cleanliness through the regular emptying of bins and skips within the fabrication facilities.
- Collaborating with the mechanical stores operative to provide support and seamless coverage during workload fluctuations, ensuring the overall efficiency of warehouse operations.
- Monitoring the delivery schedule for the HQ stores Callander and planning workload activities accordingly.
- Conducting a thorough POR/POD match during material deliveries and uploading PODs to the procurement app
- Performing Goods-in inspections to ensure the quality and accuracy of received materials.
- Initiating proactive measures by uploading PODs and promptly notifying Procurement/Manager of any material shortages, taking ownership of chasing suppliers for outstanding balances.
- Reviewing the picking schedule to prioritize workload activities.
- Generating picking lists from the schedule and organising materials into designated boxes.
- Reporting any discrepancies identified on picking lists to the buyer/manager for resolution.
- Sending detailed emails containing pallet dimensions and requesting the buyer to book transport, with all communication copied to site logistics.
- Allocate delivery note prior to dispatch.
- Regularly checking for and addressing any daily invoice queries
- Maintaining accurate stock takes on the app.
- Conducting daily inspections of plant and machinery, such as forklifts, and completing the necessary paperwork
- Loading and unloading the cardboard and plastic baler, conducting daily checks, and promptly reporting any defects to the manager.
- Organising the packaging and free issuing of materials to other departments within the complex
| QUALIFICATION |
Essential
- 5 GCSE’s or equivalent to include English and Maths
| EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE |

- Experience within a busy warehouse environment

- Knowledge of electrical and plumbing components.
