Appointed by EcoWorld, Kane delivered the £12.7 million Design & Build MEP Installation at Capital Court. The 16-month contract included the full MEP installation to 253 apartments across 3 blocks and ranging 8, 12 and 13 stories. Full use of 3D co-ordinated M&E model was utilised by our in-house design team, with BIM360 cloud platform for collaboration with the operations team.
The Low Temperature Hot Water (LTHW) requirements were served from a site-specific Energy Centre containing Combined Heating and Power (CHP) unit and Gas Fired Boilers which were manufactured off-site at our Prefabrication facility at Head Office as well as the mechanical risers. Busbars were utilized for the main distribution for residential and landlord supplies.
Further works included the full fit out of the Landlord and amenity areas which included state-of-the-art office space, breakout areas, cinema and gym facilities.
