Kane were appointed by Galliford Try to deliver the design and build MEP installation at Lyons Place, Edgware Road encompassing 76 luxurious dwellings which includes a selection of townhouses, apartments, and penthouses.
The LTHW requirements on the scheme were served by a project specific Energy Centre, with a district heating pipework network linking the Blocks. Kane were responsible for all MEP systems throughout the project, consisting of the following:
- Energy Centre, which was fabricated off site at our prefabrication workshop
- LTHW system inclusive of District Heating network to HIU’s within each dwelling
- Apartment space heating via UFH (Private) Radiators (Social) & towel rails
- MVHR system within each dwelling
- Boosted Cold Water system serving the apartment Blocks
- Above ground foul & rainwater drainage
- Fire-fighting systems inclusive of Dry Risers, Smoke Ventilation, Residential Sprinklers & Fire Alarm
- Environmental corridor ventilation, utilising the AOV system to combat overheating in communal corridors
- Security Systems including Access Control & CCTV, in compliance with Secure by Design guidelines
- General & Emergency Lighting through landlord & residential areas
- General & small power installations
- Data & IT Network installations
- TV Installation
- Residential sub mains installation
