Kane Welcomes New Head of HSEQ

Kane is pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Veroft as our new HSEQ Lead, effective January 2025.

Bringing two decades of HSEQ experience, including 15 years in Construction & MEP, Richard will take a leading role in driving forward Kane's environmental agenda while overseeing our comprehensive HSEQ management systems. His responsibilities encompass developing our sustainability strategy, workplace safety protocols and quality standards, with a particular focus on accelerating our carbon reduction initiatives. Working alongside our sustainability team, Richard will enhance our environmental policies and implement green technologies to further reduce our carbon footprint across all projects and operations.

Richard will also lead a dedicated team of health and safety officers and quality assurance engineers. His responsibilities include overseeing and providing strategic direction to the H&S, Quality, and Sustainability teams, identifying inefficiencies in current systems and implementing solutions, ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and client requirements, and providing actionable insights and recommendations to the Senior Leadership Team. He will also implement and promote proactive safety practises and a quality-first mindset, contributing to the wider company culture of Kane.
