Kane was delighted to be recognised by CONEL, the College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London, at their recent Excellence Awards. Kane picked up the Employer Partner Excellence Award at the awards ceremony.

Kane has collaborated with CONEL over the past few years meeting the training needs of our apprentices, the enthusiasm for the subject from the lecturers comes across in the quality of the training and delivery. As part of this relationship we have facilitated groups of students on to our projects giving them the opportunity to see what they have been taught in the classroom and how this relates in practice. One such trip included a group of students from Hong Kong learning about the difference in engineering practices in the UK compared to Hong Kong. We believe this relationship can only grow and flourish helping both Kane and CONEL meet the future demands of the industry.

I was delighted to attend CONEL’s Excellence Awards to pick up the Employer Partner Excellence Award on behalf of Kane. Kane have a longstanding relationship with CONEL, we understand the importance of collaborating with schools and colleges at an early stage to showcase how we can work together. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Craig Smith for his commitment and dedication in building Kane’s relationship with CONEL.
