Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Administrator to join our IT team to support and optimise our organisation’s business systems and to implement AI driven solutions that will enhance our business processes, increase efficiency, and drive data-driven decision-making across the organisation.

This role involves administering critical software platforms, managing system configurations, and providing technical support to end-users.

The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve system performance, customise solutions, and support data integration efforts across our business systems.

They will also provide assistance with maintaining and supporting hardware and network services.

Key Responsibilities:

System Administration:

  • Assist with the management and configuration of enterprise business systems, including ERP and other software platforms.
  • Implement software updates, upgrades and troubleshoot system issues as they arise.
  • Work closely with the IT team on projects such as software rollouts, infrastructure upgrades, and security enhancements.

Business Process Optimization:

  • Collaborate with various departments to understand key business challenges and identify areas where AI can add value.
  • Research and identify AI tools and technologies that align with business needs.
  • Develop strategies and models for using AI to automate repetitive tasks, streamline workflows, and improve operational efficiency.

System Integration and Management

  • Assist with data integrations between business systems to ensure seamless data flow across platforms.
  • Integrate AI tools with existing business applications, such as ERP ensuring smooth interoperability and data flow.

Security & Compliance:

  • Ensure AI systems comply with data privacy and security regulations (GDPR).
  • Implement security best practices and access controls to protect sensitive information within AI systems.

User Support & Training:

  • Provide technical support to end-users, resolving system-related issues, hardware issues and network connectivity issues.
  • Conduct training sessions and develop documentation to improve user proficiency with business systems.

Documentation & Best Practices:

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation on AI tool configurations, integration processes, and system policies.
  • Develop and enforce best practices for AI use.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Required Skills

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with SharePoint.
  • Experience with automation tools (e.g. Power Automate, Copilot).
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).
  • Knowledge of Azure cloud platform.
